	AllTalk Virtual Printer (AVP) is able to send electronic letters directly from your Practice software's letter writer to any Practitioner, Specialist or Health Organisation by simply "printing" it. The document automatically appears in the recipient's Patient Record and the sender receives an acknowledgment of receipt which then appears in their own Patient's Record.
	The Alltalk Virtual Printer (AVP) is a new add-on for Alltalk. Based around the Medical Director Letter writer (but not restricted to it), AVP will take your letter, turn it into one of the accepted Result Message formats (HL7 or PIT) and transmit it to the recipient via Alltalk (or EQuery). Using your Secure HeSA tokens, AVP will digitally sign referrals eliminating the paper copy entirely. AVP will deliver the signed document to the recipient even if the recipient does not have a Token. The recipient will receive their letter along with pathology and radiology results in exactly the same format. In other words, for Medical Director the letter will appear in the Holding Folder.
