AllTalk allows secure intercommunication between any Health Provider and any other Health Provider:

AllTalk Server can provide services to non-AllTalk Clients:
  • Legacy EQuery2 Clients
  • Standard SMTP/POP3 mail clients such as Outlook / Express
  • SOAP enabled clients using HTTP/S and SMIME


AllTalk Client can communicate with non-AllTalk Clients:

  • Microsoft Outlook / Express Server
  • Lotus Notes (via an SMTP gateway)
  • Clients supporting Medicare Australia (HIC), PKI, API

AllTalk can support other encryption technologies and unencrypted Email:

  • Legacy EQuery2
  • ZIP password protected files
  • AllTalk Client can encrypt and decrypt messages using a wide variety of any X500 certificates:
  • HeSA Location Certificates
  • HeSA Tokens (Encryption only)
  • GateKeeper / Verisign Certificates
  • Thawte

AllTalk Server can act as a Certificate Authority and certificate store for encryption certificates.

AllTalk Client automatically detects the type of message to be delivered and can deliver different file types to different directories.

AllTalk has tunable levels of Security:

  • High Security password protocols (e.g. certificate signing)
  • Sender restrictions preventing unauthorized clients from sending messages
  • Client based message format restrictions

AllTalk Servers are virtually immune to spamming and mass mail worm activities:

  • AllTalk Servers do not RELAY messages
  • The SMTP and POP3 protocol styles used in AllTalk do not use the public SMTP and POP3 ports
  • Message content restrictions on the Server can prevent unsecured messages from being accepted
  • AllTalk Servers do not accept multiple addressee messages

AllTalk systems manage all types of message:

  • PIT formatted documents
  • HL7 format documents
  • Word documents
  • Images
  • Text documents

AllTalk Servers support Organisation and Addressee profiles:

  • Doctors can update their own details on a Server
  • Doctors maintain their own Certificates
  • Doctors update their Certificates on the AllTalk Server

AllTalk Web Interface provides a Web Services (SOAP) method
