MediBILL accepts
data downloaded from systems such as Cerner, Medical Director or any Services
Manager. Data is routinely downloaded on patient discharge (or any other suitable criteria). If the patient is an "Outpatient" data is sent for the completed work. The files may be any size and in an agreed format (e.g. ASCII). The core data includes:
CLINICAL MANAGEMENT MediBILL allows customising of the translation programs to ensure that the accounts match both the HIC rules and the patient data. Agreement is reached with each site regarding the management of clinical management data such as :

MANAGEMENT Downloaded accounts data is intelligently screened for critical data. After the translation of the raw data, an "exceptions" report is produced indicating the area of exception and indicating actions which should be taken. Exception management begins with a patient identifier or a laboratory number. Each error is fixed and recorded in the "Exceptions" file. The operator then "applies" the updates to the MediBILL database. MediBILL allows ad-hoc entry of any laboratory-number related service. The program allows the operator to identify:
