MediBILL is a Consolidated & Aggregated Debtors Management System** managing billing for ALL medical services in a hospital environment. It has been totally designed, written and is owned in Australia specifically for Australian Hospital Service Providers.

** "Aggregated" means:
All services for a SINGLE HOSPITAL EPISODE are included on ONE invoice. i.e. On discharge or after 35 days of stay, all services are billed together.

"Consolidated" means:
The charges of ALL SERVICE PROVIDERS from the hospital to the Patient are included on ONE invoice. i.e Pathology, Radiology, Anaesthetist, Surgeon, Oncologist

MediBILL has a strong interface to Hospital Information Systems which allows automated invoice production from hospital data while still allowing user-intervention whenever equivocal data is found.

MediBILL fully automates electronic invoice delivery to the HIC, TAC and to all other enabled electronic funds managers. Electronic receipting is also provided for those services which deliver an electronic payment advice.

DEBT COLLECTION

Overdue accounts in the MediBILL system may be transferred automatically to a companion program, MediDEBT.

In MediDEBT each overdue account is managed within a Debt Collection structure which allows reporting of telephone calls, special arrangements and payments. An automatic link is maintained to alert MediDEBT when a patient re-presents to MediBILL and new contact details are immediately relayed to MediDEBT.

The MediDEBT client correspondence displays business logos which are independent of the MediBILL documents but the program is able to reproduce a Medicare invoice for the debt collection clients.
